Coffee from the PROCOCER cooperative is known for the consistency of its cup profile and generous body. After being roasted in our shop at LpB – La p’tite Brûlerie, these beans develop earthy flavours of walnut and dark chocolate. We love the roundness of this coffee!

The coffee grower members of PROCOCER held their first General Assembly in 1999, bringing together organic coffee producers from the municipalities of Jícaro, Murra, Ciudad Antigua, San Fernando and Jalapa. Today, PROCOCER has about 660 members. They are active participants in the cooperative’s decision-making and policy development.

PROCOCER also strives to diversify productive and economic activities in order to improve the well-being of their families, while preserving the environmental equilibrium and natural beauty of their region.
